A built-in fire pit gives a patio a reason to be used nine months of the year. We build them in natural stone or block to match the surrounding hardscape, sized and sited with proper clearance, with a steel ring insert so the face doesn't spall from the heat.

A compacted, level base so the stonework never settles out of true.

Build
Courses laid tight and level, with the fire ring set before the cap goes on.

Cap & Clean
Capstones fitted, joints finished, and the surrounding area cleaned up.
